Last season, his first in Spain, he reached individual success as he was one of the best of Atletico but as the club was relegated to Segunda Liga, Hugo was relegated too.

Comments: Paulo Costa is one of the Portuguese young promising forwards of this generation, last year he was involved in controversy, as he parted company with Sporting Lisbon, without any reason, with that he missed half a season, only starting playing his football in December at FC Alverca, he broke with Sporting promising to join a big international club, and the club was Internazionale Milano who transferred him to Serie A rivals Reggina in a co-property. Paulo Costa have fantastic skills, no much players have the pace, goalscoring capacity and control of the ball of this lad, his big imperfection is being too selfish.

Comments: Candido Costa was one of Benfica`s major hopes, under 16 champ, Candido was transferred to Salgueiros to pay a debt from Benfica. This year FC Porto brilliantly snapped this young international from Salgueiros paying a reasonable amount for a young player, with Candido justifying his price by being one of the best players in the pre-season. This season he continued on loan at the northern Portuguese club. His major qualities are the good crosses, his pace and control of the ball.
