Comment: Wayne is one of the most underrated players in the country, he is
the most efficient left back in the country and Southampton rejected a 6.5million pound bid
for his services from Chelsea. Wayne was Southampton's only ever present in the 2001/2002 season.

Comment: When Bobby Robson signed JJ from Nottingham Forest for 5million
pounds, many eyebrows were raised. Not many people had heard of him as he had plyed his trade in

simple pass, he had a good spell of form last season earning himself a full England cap.

Comment: Milner broke Wayne Rooney's record to become the youngest ever
Premiership scorer, netting a tap-in against Sunderland in December 2002. He shot to stardom
when he scored in his very next game curling a shot past Chelsea keeper Carlo Cudicini. The
teenage sensation is comfortable on both feet and composed on the ball, with a great future
ahead of him.

Comment: He joined Arsenal from Notts County as a 15year old for 2million.
He became Arsenal's youngest ever player at 16 in the Worthington Cup against Boro. He was

Comment: Tony is a no-nonsense defender who worked his way through the
ranks at Everton until his performances in the Toffees' youth and reserve teams could no longer be
ignored. He made his debut in the 2-0 win over West Ham winning the man of the match award. He
is kept a secret by Evertonians and he is expected to win his first full cap in the next year.

Club: Blackburn Rovers
Comment: It was a huge mistake by Everton to release Jay, Blackburn
snapped him up and within a year of him signing for the Rovers he was called upon by Souness to play
some first team football. He was not allowed to play in the World Youth Cup and Souness
gave the reason "Jay is now a first-team player and an important part of
our team and I want him at Ewood Park."

Name: Lionel Morgan

Club: Wimbledon
Comment: Lionel broke into the first-team set-up halfway through last
season, and was the subject of a £750,000 bid from Tottenham Hotspur. He
is very tricky on the ball, his speed and skill, frightens defenders, and
he is sure to make a big impact this season.
