For this list I chose to pick other players than in the 2003-2004 list. Players like Kompany, and all the others are still big talents, but now I opted to pick players who are playing regularly in their first team squads.
1.
Name: Jonathan Legaer
Born: 13-04-1987
Position: Winger
Club: RSC Anderlecht
Comment: Came to Anderlecht in the summer of 2003 from rivals Standard. Made his debut earlier this season and already made some fine impressions. Played in last summer's EC-19 when he was still only 17!
2.
Name: Dieter Van Tornhout
Born: 18-03-1985
Position: Attacker
Club: Club Brugge
Comment: Joined the first team squad this season, and made some fine impressions in scoring goals coming on as a substitute. Youth international.
3.
Name: Logan Bailly
Born: 27-12-1985
Position: GK
Club: Racing Genk
Comment: Last season he was loaned to Heusden-Zolder where he did so well that he earned himself a test at Liverpool. Came back to Genk and is one of Belgium's finest goalkeeping prospects. Youth international.
4.
Name: Faris Haroun
Born: 22-09-1985
Position: AM
Club: Racing Genk
Comment: Debuted last season in the first team squad. This year, he has it a bit more difficult, but surely one to watch out for. Also featured in the U-19 championship this summer.
5.
Name: Francisco Sanchez D'Avolio
Born: 16-05-1986
Position: all-round midfielder
Club: Mouscron
Comment: Already a few years in the first team squad. Last year he played not too many, but this season he is almost every week in the starting eleven. Youth international with great technical skills.
6.
Name: Moussa Dembele
Born: 16-07-1987
Position: Attacker
Club: GBA
Comment: Taken this year into the first team squad. First mostly on the bench, but the last few months he started, played well, and attracted attention from some foreign clubs. Youth international.
7.
Name: Nicolas Lombaerts
Born: 20-03-1985
Position: DLC
Club: AA Gent
Comment: Youth international who came over from Club Brugge where he wasn't sure of a first team place. Came to Gent and has always been in the line up. Great defensive prospect.
8.
Name: Landry Mulemo
Born: 17-09-1986
Position: Left Back
Club: Sint-Truiden
Comment: Is loaned out by Standard to gain first team experience. Started on the bench but soon came into the team, where he now gets lots of good comments. Youth international.
9.
Name: Prince Asubonteng
Born: 06-03-1986
Position: Attacker
Club: GBA
Comment: Already the third season in the first team squad for this young attacker. Not yet regularly starting, but fine prospect.
10.
Name: Davino Verhulst
Born: 25-11-1987
Position: GK
Club: SK Beveren
Comment: Not played some many so far this season, but when he did, his talents were very quickly shown. Could sign a contract with Bolton Wanderers this summer, but opted to stay in Belgium. Youth International.
