As there are not very much young talents in Austria, I have included every talented players with the age of 23 or under. Very talented players like Michael Wagner, Markus Weissenberger or Ernst Dospel should be on this list too but they are above this limit.

Comment: He has already his place in the Austrian national team. He is a very good runner and he gives 100% in every game. With his move to Venezia he will get his chance to show his abilities in the Serie A.

Comment: The talented keeper with very good reflexes has already made some games for Arsenal instead of David Seaman. If he works on some of his little problems, he will certainly be the upcoming Austrian national and perhaps Arsenal goalkeeper.

Comment: “Schurli” Wimmer is one the most popular young players in Austria and he has now been nominated for the Austrian national team. Some german clubs have already shown interest. A good runner and dribbler.

Comment: The young defender, who went through all youth selections, has already made some games in the Bundesliga for 1860 Munich and now received a nomination for the senior national team by teamchef Otto Baric. His tackling is already very good.

Comment: He is considered to be the biggest talent in Austrian Football, although he has not made many games for his club Rapid Vienna yet. The two biggest teams in Austria, Sturm Graz and Rapid Vienna, nearly fought to get this hopeful young striker last summer. According to his trainers, he has everything a striker needs, but he still has to prove it in the game.

Comment: A fast young player who was considered a talent at his previous club Wüstenrot Salzburg. But at Austria Vienna he has not made many games yet and has no position in the starting line-up.

Comment: Another talented player of LASK Linz, which trusts on young players due to financial problems. He is flexible, because he can play either central defender or in central midfield. He replaced LASK star Markus Weissenberger, who went to Arminia Bielefeld.
